The Roots of
The Wild Altar
The Wild Altar is tended to by Caitlin Reclusado,
an experienced photographer and initiated diviner.
A woman of many lineage lines, Caitlin is a creator by nature, and has always been drawn to symbols, dreams, myths, and the natural world. Most of all, she is inspired by the cycles of the land and our connection to the elemental beings, both big and small. An avid lover of nature, Caitlin feels all she does is held in the hands of the natural world.
Based on the central coast of California, Caitlin can usually be found exploring the wilderness around her, seeking light that bathes ordinary reality with magic. She sees her camera as a tool to explore the material and the immaterial, and her photography focuses on witnessing the spirit within people and places. She believes that beauty comes in endless forms, and her heart is driven to honor the connection we have to the wild within and without. She is also an initiated diviner within the lineage of Malidoma Somè and Bonewoman, and is available for divination sessions as well as ritual co-creation.
Roots: The Philippines, Finland, Italy, Wales, France and the Netherlands.
Values
